Afrobeats breakout star, Ahmed Ololade Asake, otherwise known as Mr. Money has signed a record deal with an international label, Empire.
The Palazzo crooner was introduced to the Nigerian audience in late 2021 with his Omo Ope hit and has remained a mainstay on chats of major streaming platforms in the country.
Empire announced Asake’s new deal on social media following a feature with already signed act, Fireboy in Bandana, a song released off the latter’s forthcoming studio album.

The YBNL act that took the Nigerian soundscape by storm with his Omope hit track in late 2021 has become a regular in the top 10 charts. He repeated his initial feat with an immediate follow-up release of his self-titled EP after signing to Olamide’s YBNL. The Ololade Asake – EP produced more classics like Trabaye and Sungba which got a remix from Nigerian rave, Burna Boy. He teamed up with legendary DJ and producer, DJ spinall for Palazzo and released another hit sing PBUY a month later.
